So, why use this? Well, most importantly, it helps me tremendously in testing new changes and additions to CrossFire. The goal is to thoroughly test CrossFire before releasing it to the masses.
Here is where you download the BETA version. The decription will be the official release version and name followed by BETA and a date. The last date is the date of the current beta. This is to help you to determine if you need to get the newest beta. Date format is yyyy/mm/dd.Visit the CrossFire forum for a detailed report on the new features.
